CKC Public Education Events

On April 17-18, 2010 and April 18th and 19th, 2009, Terrier Association of Oregon, Clackamas Kennel Club, Dog Fanciers Association of Oregon and Tualatin Kennel Club, in Support of Responsible Dog Ownership and Education, repersenting our Clubs, the American Kennel Club and the National Animal Interest Alliance as resources to the pet owning community hosted a Public Information Booth at the NW Pet & Companion Fair. We hope that you will join us at this great pet event next year.

CKC Match Pictures
October 6th, 2012

Our Match event includes Conformation, Obedience, CGC (and a CGC certificate gets you a discount on your Clackamas County dog license), Public Education Committee Booth, including discounted costs Rabies and Microchip Clinic, and entertainment and education about the world of dogs! Please plan to join us in 2012!
Our annual AKC Sanctioned B-OB Match is held at the Clackamas County Event Center (Fairgrounds) in Canby, Oregon. See map and directions below for directions.

HOTELS & MOTELS THAT ACCEPT DOGS:
Exhibitors are urged to use extreme care in the treatment of motel space. The list of motels refusing dogs because of abuse of the premises is growing. PLEASE be a responsible motel guest. Make reservations early! Area activities will make available space scarce.
Your comments or suggestions for exhibitors are welcome and will be posted, as appropriate. Email your comments here.

Directions to Clackamas County Event Center

Southbound: Take I-205 from north of Vancouver to exit #9, Oregon City. Follow signs to 99E, which goes through Oregon City to Canby (it's about 8 miles from Oregon City to Canby). You can see the Fairgrounds to the right as you approach Canby. Look for FAIRGROUNDS road signs.
OR
Continue southbound on I-5 through the Portland metropolitan area and take exit #282, Canby Hubbard. Follow the directions to Canby and go to the north end of town. Look for the FAIRGROUNDS signs to the show site, which is on the west side of 99E.

Northbound: Take the Donald Aurora Exit from I-5, turn right at the bottom of the exit ramp, proceed to Aurora (about 1 mile). Turn left onto 99E, go north through Barlow to Canby (about 4 miles). Go to the north end of town and follow FAIRGROUNDS signs to the show (to your left from 99E).
